Short Fest is a single-day production challenge open to all Blue Valley district high school students. Your team will have nine hours to shoot and edit a short (1-3 min) film. A film about what? That's a secret we'll reveal at the Short Fest Startup Event! Be sure to check back as the fest approaches for important information.
Blue Valley will provide editing software, computers, snacks, pizza, drinks, and t-shirts. All you have to bring is production equipment and storytelling skill. What equipment will you need? Bring anything you might use: cameras, tripods, lights, mics, etc. Blue Valley teachers will be available to answer technical questions.
Supported editing software: iMovie, Final Cut Pro, Motion, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects.

How to participate:
- Register your team below by completing the Google Form.
- Arrive to the Short Fest Startup Event April 28, 2018 at 9:00 am in the Blue Valley CAPS Atrium.
- Plan, Shoot, Edit, and Export your film by 6:00 pm.
- Hang out for pizza, dessert, and a screening of all the day's work.
